I made this soup one day in the summer using a recipe from recipezaar.com as a base. It took forever to make and I didn't have a big enough pot so I made a huge mess but it turned out to be so good that we bought a 5 liter pot just to make it in the future. It is thick enough to be served as an entrée and the leftovers last us the better part of a week, it's even great cold. Recipe can be made kosher for milk meal, check notes.

This is not a bad recipe for french toast but it seems like the one my mother made in my childhood was much better and less hassle.

Amazing, soft cookies. They are good for Christmas time, go with coffee, and are best served right out of the oven. They completely melt in your mouth.

A strange concoction that was present at every family function in my childhood. I always liked it but I now realize why I was never told what was in it.
